Passages continues to closely monitor developments in the region, including ongoing tensions involving Israel and Iran, as well as the broader security environment across the Middle East. We are also closely monitoring the situation in Lebanon as part of our ongoing regional security assessment.
At this time, Passages is actively planning to operate summer 2026 programs, and trips are currently slated to move forward as scheduled.
Our team remains in regular contact with our trusted security partners, including ASERO, Moked Teva, and Israel Educational Travel Alliance, and continues to review guidance from the U.S. Department of State and other relevant authorities.
We are also carefully monitoring air travel conditions and the ability to safely execute our planned itineraries within Israel. Over the coming weeks, our team will continue evaluating the situation and consulting with our partners on the ground.
The safety and wellbeing of our participants, staff, and partners remains our highest priority. We will continue to provide updates on this page and communicate directly with participants and group leaders as additional information becomes available.
Passages is actively monitoring developments across the region, including events within Israel and broader geopolitical dynamics such as ongoing negotiations between the United States and Iran.
At this time, current security issues are largely isolated outside of Israel’s borders or in areas that are not included on Passages itineraries. Conditions within Israel presently appear stable.
We remain in close consultation with our trusted security partners and local experts to ensure that we maintain the highest standards of safety and situational awareness. These ongoing assessments enable us to continue planning and executing trips responsibly and securely.
The safety and well-being of our participants and staff remain our highest priority, and we will provide updates should conditions change.
As our winter season comes to a close, we are grateful for the extraordinary impact of these past weeks in Israel. Across multiple trips, Passages students engaged deeply with the land, the people, and the complexities of Israel today. They encountered history and Scripture firsthand, asked difficult questions, built meaningful relationships, and bore witness to stories that will shape how they lead on campus, in their communities, and far beyond.
Throughout the season, student safety remained our top priority. In close coordination with our security partners, we were able to carry out a full and meaningful itinerary while adapting as needed to ensure a safe, thoughtful, and impactful experience for every participant.
The fruit of this winter is already evident. Students returned home more informed, more grounded in their faith, and more prepared to engage thoughtfully in conversations about Israel and the Jewish people. Many are stepping back onto their campuses with renewed clarity, conviction, and a commitment to leadership rooted in truth and relationship.
As we look ahead, we are excited to build on this momentum with our upcoming summer trips. These programs will continue to offer transformative encounters with Israel while equipping the next generation of leaders with the tools, confidence, and community they need for the season ahead.
