D. Luke Bray is the Vice President of Strategic Partnerships and Growth. In this role, he develops new partnerships between Passages and educational institutions, campus ministries, and international organizations. In 2003, Luke served with the United States Army in Iraq, and his experience gave him a passion for the Middle East and its people. Before joining Passages, Luke and his wife, Kim, served at Jeffersontown Baptist Church in Louisville, Kentucky, where Luke was the senior pastor. In addition, he taught as an adjunct instructor of Global Studies at Boyce College. He earned a Masters of Divinity with a concentration in Islamic Studies, and in 2021 he received a Th.M. In Christian Missions and a Ph.D. in World Religions at the Southern Baptist Theological Seminary. Luke and Kim have five children and live in North Dallas, Texas.
